Hypnosis is a completely natural state of often deeply felt relaxation and focused attention, where positive suggestions can be more easily accepted by our subconscious minds. Imagine a fantastic and tranquil state of daydreaming, and that is very close to hypnosis!  

Hypnosis can bring us improved self control, clearer and empowered behavioural choices, and allow us to listen to our best inner resources. Many people experience a deep sense of calmness and serenity during hypnotic meditation and are often pleasantly surprised to see the ongoing, life enhancing results.

Movement and Yoga

Simple Morning Movement

I invite my clients to cultivate a habit of daily morning movement. Very small bouts of energizing movement can turn on hormonal programs that up-regulate insulin receptors (enabling you to better manage blood glucose levels and fully absorb and assimilate energy from the foods you eat AND reduce food focus and food cravings) and down-regulate hunger hormones like grehlin (that cause you to focus on food).

Start your day with 10 jumping jacks, 10 high-knees or knee-elbow “kisses,” 5 push-ups, and 5-10 sit-ups.

This should take about 2 minutes. Do this immediately upon rising (as soon your feet hit the ground).
